Lighting

Both Rako and Crestron's lighting systems can provide full control of your lights.

We strongly recommend that you use the same lighting system across your whole house - you should avoid mixing multiple lighting systems.
Every group of lights that you want to control separately will need to have its own circuit. If you're not sure how many circuits you need, take a look at your existing light switches - each switch controls one circuit, so you'll probably want one circuit per switch.
A keypad is a panel which allows you to control your lights, similar to a light switch. If you're not sure how many keypads you need, take a look at your existing light switches - you'll probably want one keypad per switch plate.

If you only want this room to be controlled by another room's keypads, set the number of keypads to zero.
